INFORMATION
GENERAL
The MELLEN SS series split furnace operates at temperatures up to 1550ºC in air. The furnace comes available in hexagonal, rectangular, or circular bores, and can be designed for operation in any orientation. The furnace is economical to operate and has field-replaceable elements for ultimate customer satisfaction. The furnace has rugged coated firebrick vestibules and is designed with a double wall steel construction to provide a cool and robust exterior.
HEATING ELEMENTS
The furnace utilizes Silicon Carbide heating elements capable of 1550ºC in air. These heating elements use low surface-watt loading for longer life at elevated temperatures without compromising uniformity or ramp rates.
CONTROLLER
Sold Separately. Phase angle fired power supply (MELLEN PS305 or 400) recommended.
