INFORMATION
GENERAL
The MELLEN Microtherm MTSC series furnace operates at temperatures up to 1250ºC in air. The standard orientation of the furnace is horizontal, however, a vertical stand or a bench stand is available upon request. The MTSC furnace has fast heat-up rates and an integrated dual-display controller, making it easy to use.
HEATING ELEMENTS
The furnace utilizes clamshell heating elements capable of 1250ºC in air, though it can be modified for operation at lower temperatures (eg 1100ºC or lower) as required.
CONTROLLER
The furnace system comes complete with MELLEN model PS105 control cabinet mounted beneath the furnace. This features a built-in 8 Ramp/Soak Programming controller with 8 segments. This furnace includes an integrated over-temperature alarm and RS485 Communications.
