INFORMATION
GENERAL
The MELLEN TC tube furnace operates at temperatures up to 1250ºC in air. This furnace is constructed with quality, low-mass ceramic-fiber insulation and coated fabric vestibules for thermal efficiency. The outer skin of the furnace is composed of a rugged stainless steel shell that ensures maintenance-free durability. Long-lasting steel end plates are provided for each end to prevent thermal distortion.
HEATING ELEMENTS
There are three classifications of heating elements that this furnace utilizes: APM, FeCrAl, and Chromel. APM clamshell heating elements are capable of 1250ºC in air, while FeCrAl heating elements can achieve 1200ºC, and Chromel heating elements are capable of 1100ºC in air.
