INFORMATION
GENERAL
The MELLEN SC-R series furnace operates at temperatures up to 1250ºC in air and has a round exterior. The standard orientation of the furnace is horizontal, however, a vertical stand or a bench stand is available. The furnace has fast heat-up rates (up to 25ºC per minute standard) and the split design is retained with a twist clamp, making it easy to access the hot zone.
HEATING ELEMENTS
The furnace utilizes clamshell heating elements capable of 1250ºC in air.
CONTROLLER
The controller for this furnace is sold separately. Most SC furnaces can be operated with a MELLEN PS105.
