Control Cabinets

AT MELLEN, we strive to bring our customers quality with each piece of equipment that works with our furnace.  We only use components from recognized manufacturers.

MELLEN can create a single zone or any number of zone cabinet for your needs.  We offer single zone cabinets, double, triple, four zone and so on.  At six zones, it is more economical to switch to computer based control, such as our ADAPT™ or ICC Software.

MELLEN primarily uses three quality controllers for our control cabinets:

In addition, MELLEN will uses any controller that you, our customer, prefers, such as Eurotherm®, etc.  MELLEN can utilize any instrument that has been standardized at your factory.  Please consult MELLEN for details and price.

• Programmable controllers include ramping and soaking functions

• All controls can be supplied with an optional OT (over temperature) alarm.

• Controllers are RS Compatible.

• Controllers are LAB VIEW Compatible

Furnaces with Silicon Carbide Elements utilize current limiting in the control systems

SCR uses current limiting and/or power limiting for our control cabinets.
