Moly Discilicide Elements

MELLEN offers Molybdenum Disilicide Heating Elements.  Molybdenum Disilicide elements can be heated up to element temperatures of 1800^oC continuous operating temperature or a 1900^oC element rating.

The "U" shaped element is a resistance type heating element that converts electrical energy to heat energy.  These elements are available in three grades for ratings of 1700^oC, 1800^oC and 1900^oC.
