The furnace pictured has an ultra small 1" zone making it ideal for miniature applications, fine areas, extreme gradients, lab services and zone refining. The TI Series furnace size makes it ideal for a laboratory environment, where footprint is critical. TI

furnace line.
Included with the furnace is a separately housed power supply with outlet plug. The user simply unplugs the various power configurations as simply as unplugging a toaster! MELLEN can raise your operating temperature in more ways than one, the hotter the better. |
The TI Series furnace is designed
for temperatures up to 1700oC. (The furnace can run in an air
atmosphere at temperatures up to 1300oC. At temperatures above
1300oC, an inert atmosphere should be used in the process.
The has
been engineered
to allow the operator the choice of three configurations
to operate this one zone furnace. This low cost alternative to a three
zone furnace, allows the user the options
associated with the more costly models, with the advantage of changing "zone"
configurations.
