EDG Sunfire

MELLEN created the EDG Sunfire  as a lower cost alternative to the high end EDG.  The EDG Sunfire is rated to 1300^oC with a 1250^oC operating temperature, allowing for many uses. The EDG Sunfire Furnace continues in the research and development that led to the advance state of the art crystal growth apparatus and equipment.

The EDG Sunfire PT If higher temperature applications are what you need, try the MELLEN Sunfire PT that can be operated up to 1600^oC.

EDG Split Furnace SI - MELLEN offers the EDG Sunfire Split Furnace SI.  The EDG SI offers the benefit of a split furnace--easy access to the bore-- with the superior gradient capabilities of an EDG.  The EDG SI allows for a maximum operating temperature of up to 1500^oC.  The EDG SI,  pictured, features an eight zone, five inch bore.
